MS-DOS 3.2 adds support for 3.5-inch, double-density 720KB floppy disks, introduces XCOPY and features a new RAMDRIVE.SYS that supports creating a drive in XMS, EMS or conventional memory. IBM PC-DOS 3.2 adds support for the IBM PC Convertible, which required 3.5-inch drives due to space constraints. This was also the first DOS to be available in "vanilla" retail form instead of exclusively OEM rebranded.
