MS-DOS 3.0 debuted with the IBM PC/AT (as PC-DOS 3.0) and adds support for 5.25-inch, 1.2 MB floppy disks, support for the AT's internal clock and officially supports partition sizes up to 32MB, with sizes this large only being available from certain OEMs in prior versions of DOS. While MS-DOS 3.0 was planned to ship with networking support, it was cut prior to release due to bugs.
